Articulate 360 and Storyline are especially popular for developing rapid e-Learning as they can help reduce development time for courses drastically. They do not require advanced technical skills (from coding and IT to graphic design and user experience) that are traditionally required for developing interactive digital content. In addition, an instructional designer can pre-design content templates and the subject matter experts (SME) could even built their own courses which can further reduce development times.
Course creators can also leverage their subscription to Articulate 360 and Storyline with access to the Content Library. This resource is made up of over 4.5 million course assets, from high-resolution images and graphics, to complete course templates with pre-built interactions to simplify the course development process. Storyline files can also be published in a range of formats, including SCORM, which allows course creators to track and analyze data about their learners and how they interact with the e-Learning material.
A subscription to Storyline 360 also includes access to a the e-Learning Heroes community for access to a wealth of knowledge and support. Here, members can also find templates for creating complex interactions, assessments and gamification elements which have been created and shared with the community. With over 735,000 members, e-Learning Heroes provides meaningful connections and support, expert peer advice, forums, blog posts, and free content created by and for the community to use.

Storyline is very powerful. If you can imagine the design, you can develop it in Storyline. The built-in templates and player skins offer a wide variety of page layouts. I particularly like how Storyline organizes slides by scenes and provides a visual map to help you see the course navigation. |
